KNUST admission deadline
The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology admission deadline is different depending on what you want o study. For instance, some Undergraduate students have different admission deadlines while postgraduates and adult students also have their separate deadlines.
Even though they have different deadlines, all applications are currently open. The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology usually opens somewhere in June each year.
Let us look at when each of the said applications will close.
- Undergraduate applicants (Regular)
Undergraduate applicants who are applying to Top-up or Degree programmes are expected to purchase their application vouchers and apply before the Monday 22 October deadline. Applicants who fail to submit an application before this date will not get admission to the Kwame Nkrumah University of Technology for the academic year.
- Undergraduate applicants ( Institute of Distance Learning).
Applicants who wish to apply to Top-up or Diploma programmes through distance learning must also submit their applications to the university before the Wednesday 30 November deadline. Failure to do that means you can not get admission for the academic year.
- Postgraduate applicants
Applicants who are applying to study postgraduate programmes at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology must submit their application before the Monday 22 October deadline. It does not matter whether you are regular or applying through the Institute of Distance Learning. You must apply before the deadline else you will not get admission for the academic year.
- International applicants
International applicants have the same deadline as local applicants. However, their application is different from that of the local applicants. Follow the tutorial from my previous article about the KNUST application portal to submit your application.
How to beat the deadline
Filing your application on time is the only way to beat the KNUST admission deadline. There is no other way.
You should also make sure sure you check the admission date on the KNUST website. Probably the deadline might have changed. Confirm from the KNUST admission web page before you be in a haste to complete your application.
You should also note that the earlier you apply, the high your chances of getting admission to study at KNUST.
